Rare skink saved from extinction
Twenty-one critically endangered orange-tailed skinks have been sent to the UK for a captive breeding programme. This has been made possible through the collaboration of the Ministry of Agro-Industry, scientists of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation (MWF).
