Workers draw lots for VRS land allocation
Under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS), the Mon Loisir Sugar Estate organised a drawing of lots exercise on February 16 for the beneficiaries of the scheme. The draw was held at the Farmers Service Centre at Rivière du Rempart. Through this exercise, the recipients were informed about the lots that will be awarded to them, including at Belle Vue Maurel, Poudre d’Or Hamlet and Schoenfeld.
