MSIRI publishes report on sugar industry

The sugarcane plantations on the island registered an average of 304 millimetres or 118 per cent of rains during January. According to a study of the Mauritius Sugar Industry Research Institute (MSIRI) Crop Report released in January, the rainfall has proved to be encouraging for the agricultural sector.
