New regulations on energy efficiency of air conditioners from March 2025

The Council of Ministers has approved the introduction of the Energy Efficiency (Minimum Energy Performance Standards for Regulated Machines) Regulations 2025. The aim of this regulation is to establish mandatory minimum energy performance standards for air conditioners, in order to better control the energy efficiency of imported appliances.
