Mauritius Does Not Recognize the Saharawi Republic

In recent weeks, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, also known as Western Sahara is no longer recognized by Maurice. In one filed by the Department of Foreign Affairs to the library of Parliament written answer, it is explained that this change of attitude "does not call into question the continued support of Mauritius to the right of the gratitude of the people of Western Sahara".
