On the 28th February 2013, the government announced the national day celebration ceremony under the theme of "Enn Pei, Enn Nasion, Enn Destin" on their Rs 50 million worth web site and also, published the official logo for this special day.

This year, Maurice celebrate the 45th anniversary of its independence. The government intends to organize a lavish celebration to mark the occasion. Thus, the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee will be the guest of honor. The festival will be celebrated at Belle Vue, March 12.
