Bhojpuri Language Fares Well In Schools
Bhojpuri language is being taught as an oral component in Standard I since the beginning of semester one of 2012. This is a new initiative to promote the diversity of Mauritian cultures.

Native Language: Challenge or Standard?
Day of the mother tongue is celebrated on Tuesday, February 21. The State was well advised by introducing the Morisien Kreol and Bhojpuri in the primary. Since their introduction, these two languages flourish.
