Setting up Inland Sea Farm, Pakistan: Mauritius Investor Shows Keenness
A Mauritius investor has shown his keenness to invest $40 million to establish Inland Sea Farm (ISF) in Pakistan. According to commercial Attaché of Pakistan at Mauritius Aga Saeed, the business deal of $40 million was expected to be finalised after video conference between the Mauritius investor and Fishery authority to be held on October 7, 2013.

Medical School: Six New Universities Recognized by Ministry of Health
They will soon perform in Mauritius. While these students have completed their medical studies in foreign universities so far not recognized, this is about to change. Beaches Rehabilitation: MOI Began Studying Several Sites
The Mauritius Oceanography Institute (MOI) is undertaking a study to locate and determine the volume of sand that lies between 10 and 15 meters deep off the lagoons in coastal areas. This sand may be used to rehabilitate the beaches in Mauritius. The sites selected for the study are Trou aux Biches, Mon Choisy and Albion areas where signs of erosion are apparent.
