New NIC to Be Issued by October
The new National Identity Card (NIC) will be operational by October 2013. This was announced by the minister of Information, Communication and Technology Tassarajen Pillay Chedumbrum during the Committee of Supplies at the National Assembly on Wednesday. The whole island will be fully equipped with the new cards by October 2014.
