Freedom of information gives the general public access to data held by government agencies. In many countries, there are constitutional guarantees for the right of access to information, but usually, these are not used if specific support legislation does not exist.

Electoral reform bill in Parliament before elections

The government will come forward with a bill on electoral reform before the next general elections. This was announced by the Attorney General Satish Faugoo on Thursday morning at the Supreme Court where the “Constitutional Complaint” filed by Rezistans ek Alternativ was called.
