Le Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) et le ministère de l’Éducation et des ressources humaines comptent inclure le HSC Professional Qualification (HSC Pro) dans le système éducatif. Le HSC Pro est une alternative au Higher School Certificate (HSC) traditionnel. Après leur School Certificate (SC), les élèves qui sont en quête d’un programme d’études plus orienté vers le monde du travail pourront opter pour le HSC Pro. Ils pourront poursuivre aussi leurs études supérieures.
