Education: Professional HSC in 2014 on a Pilot Basis
HSC Professional (Pro HSC) will enter secondary education on a pilot basis in 2014. According to the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES), students who opt for the HSC Pro will employable when they leave the college as the goal is to minimize "mismatch" between what is academic and the world of work.

HSC: Additional Scholarships - Beneficiaries Known Soon
The State will provide 24 additional scholarships based on Academic Merit Criteria & Social. Those eligible have already submitted an application to the Ministry of Education. The identity of the recipients will be announced soon after the approval of the Ministry of Social Security.
