La magistrate Yashumatee Gopaul, siégeant en cour de district de Pamplemousses, a trouvé coupable un automobiliste sous deux charges : « Offence of Parking motor vehicle on a double yellow line, in breach of Regulations 72 (2) (f) and 125 of the Road Traffic Regulations 2010 (ii) having on 4th September 2010, wilfully and unlawfully molested a police officer, who was in the performance of his public duty. » L’accusé aurait répondu « mo p… ar toi, pran to contravention » quand il s’est fait interpeller par un policier.

Penalty Points: 28 Drivers Sanctioned During the Weekend
28 drivers will have points deducted as 'penalty points system'.
