Bushan Prayagsing, 19 ans, inculpé du meurtre de Jenita Ramchurn
Soupçonné d’avoir étouffé à mort son ex-petite amie, Bushan Prayagsing a été arrêté dans l’après-midi de ce jeudi 7 mars. Il est passé aux aveux et a été présenté devant la justice où une charge provisoire de meurtre a été logée contre lui.

Shiva : le destructeur du mal
Cette année, les fidèles qui font pèlerinage du Maha Shivaratree, après avoir recueilli de l'eau sacrée du 'Ganga Talao', pourront la déverser sur un énorme 'shivling', symbole du dieu Shiva, entouré de 108 petits ‘shivlings’. Ce temple du site de la Hindu House appelé Somnath Spiritual Park, à Grand-Bassin, accueillera de nombreux dévots.

Affaire McDonald’s : le juge Fekna effectue un constat des lieux
Concernant le procès opposant la International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) à McDonald’s, le juge Pritviraj Fekna a effectué une visite des lieux à Phoenix, mercredi après-midi. Il voulait constater de visu la distance entre le restaurant McDonald’s et les locaux d’ISKCON. Des dispositifs de sécurité ont été mis en place pour le bon déroulement de cet exercice.
