Le gouverneur de la Bank of Mauritius (BoM), Rundheersing Bheenick, a été élu membre du non-Financial Stability Board (FSB) devenant ainsi le co-président du FSB Regional Consultative Group (RCG) pour les pays de l’Afrique sub-saharienne. Election qui prend effet à partir du 1er juillet Rundheersing Bheenick succède à Njuguna Ndung’u, Gouverneur de la Banque centrale du Kenya.
