Tourisme : baisse des arrivées en janvier
2013 commence mal pour le tourisme. Une baisse de 6 % des arrivées touristiques a été, en effet, notée pour le mois de janvier. Bien que ce mois soit habituellement perçu comme riche, les derniers chiffres de Statistics Mauritius démontrent le contraire. 92 894 touristes ont foulé le sol mauricien en janvier 2013 contre 98 837 en janvier 2012.

DBM : Deloitte assure la restructuration
Lourdement endettée, la Banque de Développement (DBM - Development Bank of Mauritius) a fait appel à la firme Deloitte pour aider à sa restructuration. La DBM se retrouve avec une ardoise de Rs 260 millions accumulées ces dernières années auprès de ses créanciers. Une décision sera prise au plus tard en juin concernant le devenir de cette institution.
