LAGOS (AFP) Les violences ethniques et religieuses au Nigeria ont connu une nouvelle flambée mardi, faisant au moins 11 morts dans le nord musulman et cinq dans le sud chrétien.Le mitraillage d'un bar par des islamistes présumés a coûté la vie à huit personnes, dont cinq policiers, dans le nord. Quelques 15 230 nouveaux élèves se rendront dans les écoles primaires tandis qu´environ 13 000 autres rejoindront les écoles secondaires cette année. La reprise des cours dans toutes les autres classes sera le jeudi 12 janvier. Pour cette année scolaire, les écoles maternelles vont accueillir environ 34 000 enfants.
