Deux hommes ont tué à l'arme blanche un soldat britannique mercredi à Woolwich, un quartier du sud-est de Londres. Les deux hommes ont affirmé aux témoins de la scène agir "au nom d'Allah", avant d'être blessés par la police et arrêtés. Ils ont été admis dans deux hôpitaux londoniens distincts. Des parents attendant d’avoir des nouvelles de leurs enfants à l’hôpital Victoria Dix élèves âgés de 10 à 11 ans ont été placés sous observation à l’hôpital Victoria après un début d’incendie dans leur bus scolaire à Palma. “C’est vers 10h qu’on a reçu un appel du SAMU nous informant que ces élèves allaient être emmenés à l’hôpital.
