Baisse sensible des tarifs Internet
Avec l’arrivée de Belgacom, une entreprise belge spécialisée dans la fourniture de bande passante , le ministre des Technologies de l’Information et de la communication, Tassarajen Pillay, prévoit une baisse sensible du tarif minimal de connexion à Internet. Belgacom a récemment obenu son permis de ‘Networking Services Provider’ auprès de l’Information & Communication Technology Authority. Elle devient ainsi le troisième opérateur à en bénéficier et devrait démarrer ses opérations cette année.

130 Small Producers in CEB Network
Some 130 small producers of electricity are already connected to the network of the Central Electricity Board (CEB). Their production capacity is more than 1000 kWh. In addition, 400 small power producers, individuals, have already made a request to the parastatal body to be connected to the CEB network. It is the excess electricity they generate through solar panels they sell at CEB.
