Une unité de pâtisserie et un salon de coiffure et de soins de beauté inaugurés à la prison pour femmes
La prison pour femmes à Beau Bassin a inauguré une unité de pâtisserie ainsi qu’un salon de coiffure et de soins de beauté le vendredi 18 novembre, en présence du Haut Commissaire de l´Australie, Sandra Vegting, et le Commissaire des prisons, Jean Bruneau. Le projet de pâtisserie a commencé en octobre 2011, avec l´aide financière de la Haute Commission australienne à hauteur de Rs 320 000. Actuellement, 11 femmes détenues sont inscrites pour le premier volet d´un cours de trois mois. A la fin du cours, les détenues recevront une attestation de présence.
