GBOT successfully completes 200th day of T+1 clearing and settlement
The Global Board Of Trade (GBOT) Mauritius has successfully completed its 200th day of T+1 clearing and settlement today. The achievement closely follows another milestone achieved by the Exchange on 27th July, 2011 when it clocked a record USD 65.24 million in daily trading volumes, the highest on any single day of trading on GBOT. GBOT currently offers trading in commodities and currencies wherein mark-to-market settlement is carried out and trades are cleared and settled on a T+1 basis (“T” stands for the day on which a trade has been executed on the exchange and “T+1” stands for the following …
